Open Campus of the Caribbean

“A dream will not become an innovation if there is no realization - - Never tell people how to do things. Tell them what to do and they will surprise you with their ingenuity"

About us
  • Open Campus of the Caribbean is the first of its kind and represents the dream of two Jamaican technologists: Selvin Bailey and Kereen Tatham-Brown. Selvin is a technically sophisticated, business-savvy, and solutions-focused IT Senior Executive. He offers advanced technical aptitude and leadership skills coupled with “hands-on” application development, benchmarking, capacity building, project management, resource management, and cross-functional team training. Kereen is an enthusiastic veteran educator and EdTech leader with a wealth of knowledge in developing and implementing meaningful educational technology tools and applications in instruction (face-to-face, online, or blended). She strives to create engaging learning environments through culturally relevant pedagogy. As an EdTech leader, she seeks to build equity by providing access and creating meaningful learning opportunities for all.
  • We believe education is critical to achieving personal success and economic growth. As such, through our combined knowledge and skills, we have embarked on a project to collaborate with other like-minded individuals to share our knowledge and skills in several free self-paced courses designed to develop critical life skills. These courses aim to build capacities and serve as scaffolds to learning in areas such as e-Learning Business Ventures, Training and Development, Instructional Design, Project Management, and e-Learning Leadership.
